For five years, I went to the World Trade Center once a week to photograph the construction of the building. In that time, I had to switch views due to scaffolding, sacrifice vacations, battle the elements and occasional sickness and injury. I also photographed the construction from my living room window in the Lower East Side. Due to the early growth of the building I had to buy a lens with a wider angle. The footage from the observation deck is from the opening day May 29, 2015.
I always wanted to build a version of the Enterprise. This is was modeled in Cinema 4D.
This is a work in progress. The owner of the BatBot hotel is flying around somewhere.
Inflamo. This became art for a bamboo iPhone 5 case and one day might become a character in a Saturday morning cartoon. He has seven firebots that are his faithful minions.
Klorak 6 is a design for a bamboo iPhone 4 case. He is on patrol to protect the galaxy from villains like Inflamo and his incendiary fiends. He has a tough job but he keeps his cool.
Woody an avatar use in a lot of promotions at CW. While experimenting with Light Kit Pro in Cinema 4D, I created these trophies. I send one out to account execs if they actually remember to get me a vector logo when I need one.
Operation Admiral was a code word I used for a mission to photograph and take video of the Admiral's Row houses in Brooklyn on Flushing Ave. Abandoned in the 1980s, these beautiful houses are in a horrible state of decay. Only one or two will be restored. I took the photograph on my Canon 5D Mk II and modeled the logo in Cinema 4D.
Here is a Flickr set of my Admiral's Row photos.
This was for holding page for talesfromthehead.com when it first started. He would yawn from time to time because building a web site takes time.
